Alexander Wyssmann Twilight - Trio, album "Notes".
After the albums for Aisha, Pictures and Tales, now Wyssmann releases more musical pictures from his head.
"Notes" is the name of the new work. With the two musicians Samuel Kühni (bass) and Thomas Reist (drums), Wyssmann has made his perceptions sound once again.
Many people believe that blind people are as black as night inside, inside their heads.
Wyssmann's images come alive in his music. Images that arise through the sense of hearing, the sense of taste and smell and through the sense of touch inside his head.
Studies and measurements from the USA show that auditory images are processed in the visual center.
When the bat man Juan Ruiz is on the move with echolocation, his visual center in his head becomes active and processes the images he hears.

"Notes," notes scattered across the table, across my office desk, notes I can't see ... they are scattered across my desktop, digitally. Ideas that appear to me in unusual moments, in unusual situations, on ordinary days, in mundane activities, in impossible situations.
Notes collected over years, many lost and forgotten. Some have remained, I do not know why, why ...
I have kept the ones that I found important, that I have not forgotten, that made something sound inside me.
The memory of my youth in the country, a revolution in South Africa and incredibly beautiful and touching music.
Vacations in the Caribbean, a banal day at home or "Hang On", a wisdom of life you could say.
All these thoughts, these scraps of paper digital or physical, these notes, these pieces of music collected on a sound carrier, the album "Notes" united.

Nach den Alben for Aisha, Pictures und Tales, veröffentlicht nun Wyssmann weitere musikalische Bilder aus seinem Kopf.
„Notes“ heisst das neue Werk. Mit den beiden Musikern Samuel Kühni (Bass) und Thomas Reist (Drums), hat Wyssmann seine Wahrnehmungen ein weiteres Mal zum klingen gebracht.
Viele Leute glauben bei blinden Menschen sei es schwarz wie die Nacht im Innern, im Kopf.
Die Bilder von Wyssmann werden lebendig in seiner Musik. Bilder die über den Hörsinn, den Geschmack- und Geruchssinn und über den Tastsinn in seinem Innern entstehen.
Studien und Messungen aus den USA zeigen, dass Hörbilder im Sehzentrum verarbeitet werden.
Wenn der Fledermausmann Juan Ruiz mit Echolokation unterwegs ist, wird sein Sehzentrum im Kopf aktiv und verarbeitet die gehörten Bilder.

„Notes,“ Notizen verstreut über den Tisch, über meinen Bürotisch, Notizen die ich nicht sehen kann … sie sind verstreut auf meinem Desktop, digital. Ideen die mir erscheinen in ungewöhnlichen Momenten, in ungewöhnlichen Situationen, an gewöhnlichen Tagen, bei banalen Tätigkeiten, in unmöglichen Situationen.
Notizen gesammelt über Jahre, viele verloren und vergessen. Einige sind geblieben, ich weiss auch nicht weshalb, warum …
Es sind mir die erhalten geblieben, die ich wichtig fand, die ich nicht vergessen habe, die etwas in mir zum klingen gebracht haben.
Die Erinnerung an meine Jugend auf dem Land, einer Revolution in Südafrika und unwahrscheinlich schöne und berührende Musik.
Ferien in der Karibik, ein banaler Tag daheim oder „Hang On“, eine Lebensweisheit könnte man sagen.
All diese Gedanken, diese Papierschnipsel digital oder physisch, diese Notizen, diese Musikstücke gesammelt auf einem Tonträger, dem Album „Notes“ vereint.
