ECHOES

Echoes is “the sound of jazz in the ‘right now’” (Jazziz Magazine). Their music pairs futuristic electronica with focused improvisations to create a sound that is uniquely their own. Inspired by 21st-century musical ideals of cross-pollination and experimentation, the group augments its already unorthodox instrumentation with a variety of electronic instruments, loops, and triggers to explore new sonic and rhythmic territory. The tri-coastal quartet has brought their “spirit of exploration” (NextBop) to venues all across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia over the course of four years of touring and performing.. In August 2018, the band released its first EP, “Square Two”, and toured across the West Coast of the United States in support of it.  On August 2, 2019, their debut LP, “Loading Screen” was released to critical acclaim and praised as “ferociously energetic, slyly humorous, acoustically engaging and digitally savvy” by Jazziz Magazine.

Echoes ist "der Klang des Jazz im 'richtigen Jetzt'" (Jazziz Magazine). Ihre Musik verbindet futuristische elektronische Musik mit konzentrierten Improvisationen und schafft so einen ganz eigenen Sound. Inspiriert von den musikalischen Idealen des 21. Jahrhunderts der gegenseitigen Befruchtung und des Experimentierens, ergänzt die Gruppe ihre ohnehin schon unorthodoxe Instrumentierung mit einer Vielzahl von elektronischen Instrumenten, Loops und Triggern, um neue klangliche und rhythmische Gebiete zu erkunden. Das Quartett aus dem Dreiländereck hat seinen "Erkundungsgeist" (NextBop) im Laufe von vier Jahren Tourneen und Auftritten an Veranstaltungsorte in ganz Nordamerika, Europa, dem Nahen Osten und Asien gebracht. Im August 2018 veröffentlichte die Band ihre erste EP, "Square Two", und tourte zur Unterstützung durch die Westküste der Vereinigten Staaten.  Am 2. August 2019 wurde ihr Debütalbum "Loading Screen" veröffentlicht, das von der Kritik hoch gelobt und vom Jazziz Magazine als "wild und energisch, schlau und humorvoll, akustisch einnehmend und digital versiert" bezeichnet wurde.
