Oliver Pellet is a guitarist, composer and teacher currently based in Switzerland. He was born in Brazil were he grew up and started his career as a musician.
In 2009 he graduated Bachelor in Music at the Parana University in Curitiba. During this time he worked with some great musicians from the Brazilian scene such: Proveta, Teco Cardoso, Lea Freire, Roberto Sion, Thiago do Espirito Santo, as examples.
In 2010 he attended a Summer Program at the New York University where he had the opportunity to study with great NYC musicians such as: Jonathan Kreisberg, Bruce Arnold, Tony Moreno, Mark Withfield, Ralph Lalama, Billy Drewes, Rey Abbasi, Lage Lund, among others.

In 2012 he moved to Europe to study with Wolfgang Muthspiel at the Hochschule für Musik Basel and graduates with excellence on 2014. During this time, he studied with some of the best teachers of the Jazz scene such as: Guillermo Klein, Aydin Esen, Larry Grenadier, Alex Sipiagin, Domenic Landolf, Malcolm Braff etc.
Since then he played at some of the most prestigious jazz clubs and festivals of Europe: The Birds Eye jazz Club, Jazz Club Luzern, Jazz Club Aarau, BIX Jazz Club, Birdland Jazz Club, Moods, Dracula Club, Offbeat Jazz Festival, Bscene Basel, Festival da Jazz St. Moritz and many others.
He has been active on the scene playing with renowned musicians like Seamus Blake, Jorge Rossy, Guillermo Klein,Tony Lakatos, Marcio Bahia, E.S.T. Symphony, Alex Sipiagin, Domenic Landolf, just to name a few.

Oliver Pellet ist ein Gitarrist, Komponist und Lehrer, der derzeit in der Schweiz lebt. Er wurde in Brasilien geboren, wo er aufwuchs und seine Karriere als Musiker begann.
Im Jahr 2009 schloss er seinen Bachelor in Musik an der Parana Universität in Curitiba ab. Während dieser Zeit arbeitete er mit einigen großen Musikern der brasilianischen Szene zusammen, wie: Proveta, Teco Cardoso, Lea Freire, Roberto Sion, Thiago do Espirito Santo, als Beispiele.
Im Jahr 2010 nahm er an einem Sommerprogramm an der New York University teil, wo er die Gelegenheit hatte, mit großen New Yorker Musikern zu studieren, wie z.B.: Jonathan Kreisberg, Bruce Arnold, Tony Moreno, Mark Withfield, Ralph Lalama, Billy Drewes, Rey Abbasi, Lage Lund, unter anderem.

Im Jahr 2012 zog er nach Europa, um bei Wolfgang Muthspiel an der Hochschule für Musik Basel zu studieren und schloss 2014 mit Auszeichnung ab. Während dieser Zeit studierte er bei einigen der besten Lehrer der Jazz-Szene wie: Guillermo Klein, Aydin Esen, Larry Grenadier, Alex Sipiagin, Domenic Landolf, Malcolm Braff etc.
Seitdem hat er in einigen der renommiertesten Jazzclubs und -festivals in Europa gespielt: The Birds Eye Jazz Club, Jazz Club Luzern, Jazz Club Aarau, BIX Jazz Club, Birdland Jazz Club, Moods, Dracula Club, Offbeat Jazz Festival, Bscene Basel, Festival da Jazz St. Moritz und viele andere.
Er war in der Szene aktiv und spielte mit renommierten Musikern wie Seamus Blake, Jorge Rossy, Guillermo Klein, Tony Lakatos, Marcio Bahia, E.S.T. Symphony, Alex Sipiagin, Domenic Landolf, um nur einige zu nennen.
